Editorial Policy

InfoDarpan publishes practical guides on money, government schemes, health, food and technology. This page explains how we research, write, update and correct our articles, so you know what to expect from us.

How we research

  • We start from official sources wherever they exist, such as government websites, regulators, official notifications and the organisation that runs the service.
  • We add trusted news coverage when official pages are unclear, and we say so in the article.
  • Where a rule is only reported or proposed, we label it as reported or proposed and do not present it as final.
  • Our articles end with a list of sources and official links, so you can check the details yourself.

How we keep articles up to date

  • Fees, dates and rules change. Time-sensitive articles show a last updated date near the top.
  • When an official source changes, we revise the article and update that date.
  • Always confirm time-sensitive details on the official website before you pay, apply or act.

Health, money and legal topics

  • Our health articles are general education. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Please speak to a qualified doctor about your own situation.
  • Our money articles are general information. They are not financial, tax or legal advice.
  • See our Disclaimer for the full wording.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers. If an article ever contains affiliate links or sponsored content, we will label it clearly.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake or an outdated detail, please tell us through our Contact page. Include the article link and, if you can, an official source. We review corrections and update the article as soon as we can.
